Default Turbo Mach1 Vs. C6 Z06

Went out Thursday night to a local GTG, a bunch of nice cars out that night. One of my buddys wanted me to race this C6 Z06 this is always out there. I have a single T76 Turbonetics turbo pushing 11 psi right now. The Vette I have no clue what his mods are but most likely it was stock. A lot of people have told me that he has a hidden N20 kit on there that he uses when trying to hussle a race. Well we race about 5 times or more and each time I just walk him. The last race I even let him have a 1/2 car head start and take the hit and reeled him in quickly and pulled away. We get back and he is making all types of excussed, saying he couldn't hear my horn, but I am the one that let him hit first. lol This guy hates to loose and will say just about anything. It is funny. Well here is one of the vids I took. I deleted the one were I gave him a head start and drove right past him like nothing. Dang it. I raced his race everytime too. He wanted a 55 punch, 60 punch, etc. It didn't matter to me either way. I wanted to go from a dig but he didn't want none of that. We ran from 55 to about 140mph

Nope he was kinda slow at shifting to the next gear though... But that isn't my problem.

Not really sure. I had a head issue a while back with a valve guide causing one of the valves in #7 to hang open and that cylinder was leaking down 72% because of that. It dyno'd around 540rwhp then at the same boost level. It feels a lot stronger now that I got that fixed. I haven't dyno'd it since or tweaked ont he tune any. I need to though so I can turn the boost up.

No he wasn't spraying at that time. But he was trying to hussle me and spray me later on for a money run... BTW I just dyno'd the car and it is putting down 576rwhp & 548rwtq at 11psi which I raced him at. I'm going to turn the boost up next week and put some tires on so I can get good traction. I was on street tires then.

wonder how much closer it would have been if he could actually bang some gears. the way you pulled you definetly would have still had him but when he granny shifted the first time you instantly pulled over a car on him but before that it you werent pulling that hard, well untill it came to full boost at least. good kill.

Nice kill Dan! Wish I lived in the Southland where you can run your high performance car all year long. I tried to get some old fart in a beautiful, brand new, red Z06 to run me yesterday afternoon, I revved, he wouldn't bite, looked like he jumped out of his skin though. LOL!
