Lt1 vs. riced eclipse or 3000gt
LOL. I pull up next to a super-riced out Mitsubishi in the left lane. It had the dumb *** spoiler and body kit to go with it. So the light turns green and we both accelerate "briskly" Finally I hear his engine rev up a bit so I am like f*ck it and punch the gas to the floor, a couple of downshifts later... bye bye ricer hahahahaha. I had hoosier a6's on 17 x 11 zr1's in the back and I had no wheel spin from a roll at all. ZERO. In fact it was so weird because my car actually felt slower but it is probably because the engine bogged down from traction. Anyway before I could realize what is going on I am back in third gear again . That is the first time I have experienced a dead hook from a roll, before I got some wheel spin. Anywho, it wasn't an official race or anything but I kicked his *** and I am 80% sure he was trying to keep up with me because I could hear his car and saw him pulling(before I mashed the gas). Btw, I pulled up next to him at the stop light with the biggest grin on my face. lol, ear to ear and look right at him through the window
Of course this was somewhere in mexico.

well it was dark and with the fully custom wide body kit I couldn't tell for sure. I think it was a 3000gt, but again I couldn't really tell. All I saw was a really big fiberglass spoiler and really low side skirts and custom bumpers lol.

Nice stomping OP. What's your mods? must be stout to be spinning 11" Hoosiers all the time from a roll.
Far as VR4's, I always read they were just over 4,000lbs where a 5th gen is 3800lbs. 200lbs is not "close" IMO.

As much as I would want to lie and sound bad ***... truth is I just put the hoosiers on a few weeks ago and this was the first time I got to "test" them out. Before I just had street tires on stockers and I could spin them at will. I just have basic bolt-ons. CAI and Magnaflow cat-back. Nothing special, but an ls1 swap might be in-store soon. Depends if I want to spend the money on engine vs. suspension.
