Default E85 GTR's vs Turbo 2v

Terrible spot for my car. They didn't agree to do a 60 roll even though I gave them their rolls. Fun either way. Waiting for a video from my buddies GTR with identical mods that I pulled on from a 65 roll a couple weeks ago.

Nice runs. Lag issues? I wish I would have had the gopro with me when I ran the alpha 9 GTR a few weeks ago

Spinning issues. 60 is where I get into my powerband. 40 is in my powerband, but spins as you can see. 50 is too high for 2nd, and too low for 3rd. Next year I'm gonna get this car to work from a 40.

He was cool and all. But we drove and hour and a half each way to set up runs where we were at. I didn't feel like driving there and sitting in a parking lot not getting any run in, so I just settled for this.

Good runs man. You stopped his pull pretty good. He should have given you one run in exchange for the run he wanted. Only fair.

He's not one of those types that would have a serious problem with losing would he? I just don't understand those people. It's a race, have fun and make it fair.

I'm not 100% sure. I just met him that night. We all met up to watch TT Viper vs TT Lambo and get some other slower car runs in. They were form out of state and we all met up half way. He seemed cool, just wanted nothing to do with a 60. Everyone I wanted to run thought it was too high of a roll

Yeah they do pretty ok. My buddy that I pulled on from a 65 ran a 10.60 at 134 the other week on radials and I think a 1.5x or 1.6x 60. I plan to beat that time next Saturday.

The one I ran went 10.5 @ 135 or 136 ....His story changed a little from time to time. I think they are capable of goin faster in that configuration. He said he had a bud with the same **** and he went a 10.2 so I would think his car should be nearer to that if all was working well.

Yeah he was saying he should cut a 1.4x 60 and run bottom 10s. I'm going to the track this weekend on kill so we'll see what it can do.

I'm gonna go soon to. I have to fix a cracked motor mount first and I'm gonna weld my axle tubes also to help keep the axles in it. My car should run a touch better than last time. I had a duff o2 last time I ran. I'm putting my ignition cut on too so I can flat foot the shift. Maybe I can get a 10sec pass out of her then. If I have time I may change some aero stuff in the front......but with buying a second house this week time is gonna be limited for me for a while.

Best of luck! Car definitely has it in it. I'm going with cracked headers (again), skinnies up front, and a tank full of 110. If it doesn't break in 2 passes of being gentle, the 3rd pass will be all out no lift shifting I'd be happy to click off a 10.2x

Be careful wot shifting that trans. My buddy with the turbo Mach has tore up alot of input shafts like that. Good luck getting that 10.2.

If my junk holds together I would be happy with a 10.8 @ 133 on the 10bolt. Mine might have a 10.6 in it with a super good launch after the 9" goes in.

Thanks. Yeah I know. It has only one WOT shift in it so far from last track day from 3rd-4th. Still got all the stock drivetrain parts to worry about too haha

Shitty you couldn't get your race.

I give people their race. I know a dude with an LS1 240sx that is at the last place I lived that only runs people at his race 1/8 mile or nothing. Sucks the GT-R guy didn't give you a 60 roll.

good race

its always funny to hear people complain about a AWD car going from a roll, isnt he being generous enough by giving a roll race?
