Default Cam/6.0L T/A vs Bolt On 99 Cobra

Couple local cars ran yesterday. I'm supposed to run these cars soon as well, haven't had time to make my way over there lately.

T/A: LQ4 w/ LS9 gaskets, BTR 227/244 cam, BTR hardened pushrods, BTR platinum springs, ported LS6 intake, ported TB, Longtubes, 3" exhaust, cutout, built T56, Monster LT1-S clutch/flywheel, UMI K member, torque arm, 3.73's

Cobra: Full exhaust, ported intake, EWP, drag pack

What if it has Hio bolt ons and just runs good? Or is that not possible for a Ford?

By comparison hio bolt ons isn't as effective on that motor. They were gutless.....mikes mild bolt on tpi will give them fits.

Well what's that car run then? Because it would take a few bolt ons fir a 99 cobro to keep up with his tpi car

Didn't Stopsign run pretty well with just an orx, cai, gear, and set of tires in a NA 4.6 and beat a cam only car at the strip?

I imagine FBO he could have easily hit 11's

Lol Mustang had nitrous or 7,000lbs worth of WR or the TA didn't have anywhere near the mods you listed.

Good attempt at stirring the pot though.

He ran like a 12.6 on a slick. A slick is probably about the kargest improvement you will see on those cars in et reduduction. His mph was poo too

Not bad. Think cman has ran a Mach 1 pretty hard as well.

Those cars can be a little quick....but no where near quick enough to run with a cammed 6.0. But in this case the cammed 6.0 looks to be not very good to say the least
