Default Bolt On 2015 BrO vs HCIE C5 Corvette

Looks like some really good races between the two. Not bad for the bolt-on heavy pig BrO

Jezuz Christ that bro runs it's *** off! Definitely impressed. That is saying alot too considering the weight of the frc and being fbo. Playing the devils advocate we are still comparing a 1999 to a 2015. I'd be ape **** happy with either car tbh.

As expected. Coyote top end does pretty good.....just imagine the Yote with heads and cams and -700lbs lighter.

Nice running 5.bro. looks nice with the blacked out windows too.

Also Was there smoke pouring out of the vette? That did not look healthy.

What HCI is on the Vette? Regardless, your 5.0 runs great

BrO is a well driven car with your average parts. I'm not sure what setup Is exactly on the corvette.

Just imagine the bro with the full cart list of bolt ons.

I might try some of that with mine before it gets a blower.

The br0 is a 12sec car.......the h/c vette should be burnt. It's not that the 5br0 is so fast in this vid. It's the the h/c vette is junk.

OP do you know either owner? Was the vette smoking out the exhaust, or was that just a side affect due to the blurred plate editing?
Also I Googled 1999 corvette specs to refresh my memory for the advertised "curb weight", and the first add says it's a luxury vehicle lol. Guess it was just out classed by a sports car lol.

I've owned a cammed LS1 vette. That vette did not sound like it had a cam. It was pretty damn quiet sitting next to the stang before the dig race. Probably just bolt-ons.

C5 looks tired lol!!

In all seriousness, did anyone else notice how bad the C5 fell out of its powerband every shift? Either a slow shifter or stock gearing, most likely a combination both?

Owner of the vette posted on fb... Apparently he's burning oil hence the smoke. Brus run strong but i hope the op is trolling if he thinks that race went down like it should have

Damn Ls oil consumption issues.

C5 sounded great. Br0 held in there very well

Good runs! Thanks for posting!

Not sure if we watched the same video. Definitely sounds like a mild cam and mild catback combo like I've heard in person.

HCI covers a pretty broad spectrum. 243 heads and a small cam with LS6 intake vs some fancy ported aftermarket castings and a huge cam with a FAST/MSD is as different as a stock bro vs a FBO E85 bro.

Could be a healthy vette with a mild setup. But yeah maybe it's hurt if it's burning oil.

I run that first combo and have no trouble even with near fbo bro on E85. That Vette guy should be embarrassed losing to that 12 second car eeck

Good kill for the bro!!
