Default 01SS a4 v.s. C6 a4

So last weekend me and my friend got to race we ran over in ft. worth well we got to the spot and ran twice from a dig. On the first race he got the jump but i realed him in and passed him by a car in the 1/8 and was still pulling!! on the second race he got good traction and i slipped off the line but was by his back bumper by the 1/8 so we both got a win i was just not impressed since i thought he would have pulled harder!! Also mods are in signature!!!

350 hp SS @ 3500 lbs vs. 400 hp C6 @ 3200 lbs??? C6 with the jump and you still ran him down???

I thought it was bad enough when everyone posted wins verse the C5's with 345 hp...

Guess the only way for a Vette to will will be putting the new '06 Z06 motor in...Maybe...

Peace...Gman

Yea i saw an auto C6 only put down 327rwhp stock, seems GM drop the ball with something, I thought they would at least do 340-350rwhp stock? I havent seen a M6/C6 dyno yet.

InsomZ's Z06 stock put down more, but having a M6 helps too.

Coupled with their horrible torque management system that chops the ls2's ***** off when it punches the gas im not that suprised.

I'm gonna venture a wild guess that torque management played a role in this kill...but a good kill nonetheless.

Tell that to the 2 c6s I saw at the track the other day both running consistent 13.5 @ 103 - 105 mph. Sounds like LS1 times to me.
