Well ever since i got my vette i have wanted to run some 03-04 Cobras. Every weekend it was supposed to happen but just never worked out. Well lastnight i had more fun than i have in a very very long time. My first run was and 04 Cobra, it had pulley,intake, exhaust and predator. Went a few times from a first and second gear pulls and i pulled him pretty decent,not sure on exact lengths but i did pretty damn good. So i was really stoked, right after that the group of cars we were in ,which was a bunch of stangs all caught back up at this point. Right after those runs with the 04 a Saleen S281 pulls up next to me and is ready go. Not sure of exact mods but i know it had pulley, exhaust and spray didnt really get details dont know amount of spray and pulled that by about 2 cars and slowly kept going away, ran a few times 1st,2nd and third gear rollers. I was pretty damn happy with my car at this point and right after the Saleen my buddy with the 03 Cobra wants to run me. He has intake,pulley, exaust,predator, and ported blower. He put down 520 but was down a tad on power due to a new engine and not fully broken in but im sure it is now lol We went a few times and we would stay close for a second and then my car started pulling away. And then to top the night off just as i was slowing down from that run i saw a black c5 that i had seen a few weeks ago that had a magnuson charger on it and what not so i pulled up next to him and before i could even look over to see if he wanted to run he hit it. I hit the rev limiter in second and then started pulling away on him. We got back to our lot and they didnt belive that i was only spraying a 100 shot so i pulled the jets and showed them all in good fun. All in all the best night ive had in a very very long time and just happy as hell to have even hung with let alone beat these kick *** cars. By the way i have a 99 FRC vette, with filter, cat back, no cats, and a 100 wet shot.

Yeah i know, let alone all of them being kick *** cars, and the best part fords. I dont mind racing other cars but have a love for taking down cobras, although i love them. I guess it was my night

Thanks for the compliments guys!! I went with the NX wet kit, very reliable and works perfect every time. Oh and i ran another 03 cobra-another win for the vette, the basics, intake,pulley,tune,exhaust and he said underdrive pullies but never heard anyone really doing those on the 03-04's but what do i know i drive a chevy,lol. Either way i think ill stop modding for the year and see what i can throw toghether over winter. And the vids should be up in a few days i hope.
