Default First Kill...sort of

Leaving work I have to go through a construction zone, nothing too restrictive, but you can't go flying through there due to barricades, plates, etc. As I'm driving through there, this little black car flies up behind me and - in the construction zone - starts weaving back and forth. When the construction zone ends, he goes flying by - mid '90's Honda Prelude VTEC, fart-can, big tach on the dash. No big deal to me, I"m just unwinding from work. We both catch the next light and as I pull up he gives it a couple of revs, turns up some rap tunes drowning out my St. Saens Symphony #3 in C-minor; I say Jeeves, this is beyond automotive issues now, this is a cultural battle Since I'm probably the *worst* launcher west of the Atlantic I figure I need to gently get it out of the hole, which is what happened when it turned green. He must've launched at 7K judging by the mechanical racket, as soon as I figured I was safe I nailed it and left him like he was standing still; I believe the term used here is bus lengths? All the stars must have been perfectly aligned as I got the best 1-2 and 2-3 shifts, truly a proud moment for western civilization. The next light, about 1/4-1/2 mile up, was red so I slowed down, as he pulls up next to me he proceeds to veer over into my lane and does a 'rev by' as he goes by. Strange mentality.

Nice, Those rice rockets need a LOT of work to hang with LT1's. I raced one from 55-100 in my old Trans Am (95 LT1 A4 2.73) in only 3rd gear, went from 3200 rpm at 55 to about 4300 at 100mph or so. He was busses back, after redlining twice.

You're not by chance in the music industry are you?
