Cobra sandwich!!!!!!!!!MM MM GOOD!!!
What a perfect way to end the night guys. I dyno'd out today and hit 614 rwhp and 676 rwtq on the spray. It leans out at 18.1 between 3500 and 4600. Gotta fix that. But anyway while we where dynoing we where talking about (What else) racing and other fast cars. I was told about a yellow Cobra that put down 700 rwhp with a tag that says "LTHLPSI".
After dynoing I drive down to the Memorial (where everyone goes to race.) I made a couple of trips up and down,endured many ricer flyby's. But nothing real serious. All the good stuff seemed to be going the other way. Upon several occasions I saw a yellow Cobra passing the other direction and wondered if that was him.
I start to get a little disappointed so I decide to roll through the parking lot where all the ricers sit and **** on thier tree. And lo and behold sitting there (though away from the ricers) where two cobra's. both 03's. And wouldn't you know it the yellow one said "LTHLPSI"! So I roll by and shoot some rev's and they shoot for the closer exit from the parking lot. They pull out in front of me and wave me to follow (It sure looked as though they where flipping me off). So of course I do.
We get on the high way at 35 with the maroon on my left and the yellow on my right. I am in 1st gear with my nitrous ready. Three honks and we are off! Almost immediately I see both dropping back. The maroon one didn't have a chance. The yellow one hung for a couple of seconds before the bus lengths got him. We did this about 8 times with all but one the same. DAmn miss shift!
What was really cool was they followed me to Sonic and we talked for a while They seemed really shocked at first. The first words where "did you spray me" My response was "Hell yeah. I sprayed you like a cockroach". Sorry so lengthy but I still am grinning. HE was Also pushing 17lbs. I dont think his HP was what everyone thought.

Your CAR COMES Has A TT? & you have no other mods but the filter>? i am CUNFUZED also LOL .Or do you have more MODS?? just not listed.i have seen MANY TURBO ls1 RAPE 03/04 cobras all day.. with NO spray But with bolt ons that is..with Your SPRAY i could picture the KILL nice RACE.. What esle do you have done your Car i was also looking into putting a Turbo on my Car.. I am installing my SPay this SPRING.. so the Turbo is not far away hehe.

I have no idea! It levels out to 12.8 around 5600 rpm. I just cant think of what it could be. It is fed 118 with a standalone fuel system. It is a head scratcher for sure. I make sure the pump is primed and fuel is ready to spray with the gas. Just dont know. I was also just informed the blower on the yellow cobra was of the Kenny Bell variety.

Yeah thanks. It is a bastardized system. Nx are the noids. I have the purple power ring for the delivery. I will be calling monday for sure. Do you think it possible that I could be getting vacume from the uncapped shark nozzle on the other side? Would it cause that?

Hrmmm, I'm glad I have an A9 variety ECU and dont really worry about such anyways, I have no idea about your problem other than take it to someone who knows what they are doing and have it tuned, maybe get a chip burned for it or a reflash. Also, awesome kills, a KB 2.2 with a lotta support mods COULD hit 700rwhp I think, UNIT??

Was the maroon one driven by a black guy named Gene? I have seen the 2 cars around before. and even raced the marron one. Your car sounds like a BEAST. And is the ricer spot you mentioned carpet and tile?

650rwhp is about the limit.

to take a big single or some good sized twin turbos to get there. The stock
internals won't hold that for very long. I'd be surprised if it made it down
the track a few times. The pistons just can't handle that much power.
There are a lot of cars making 750-800rwhp and they are holding up, but
they're on borrowed time IMO...mine included. **** starts breaking
at that power level.
Nice kill BTW! You definitely need to resolve that lean spike.

Project D as a matter of fact it was carpetd with rice (carpet and Tile) LOL. The maroon Cobra was driven by a blonde haired guy. Do you know the Yellow car by the way? Fricken beautiful ride! The guy who owns it is named Scott also. Very nice guys. I have my chart with me I will try and put it up.
