Well I wouldn't doubt it. Those festivas come turbocharged and easily upgradeable. You have to remember, those cars only weigh 1800-2000lbs. Back in the day, there use to be a red one out here in Houston, that was fast as hell. I think he ran mid 12's.

Either way, your still not getting laid in a Ford Festiva. Pretty fun to ramp stuff with them though.

Gotta love tiny cars with tons of power though lol.

Funny,I don't need any car to get laid!
Yeah,Its the era to use power to weigh ratio.

Sorry to tell you that the festiva came with a 1.3 liter engine around 60hp.there was no turbocharged festiva,However you might be reffering to the festiva shogun wich has the taurus sho engine.

My festiva came with the 1.3,I have an engine swap from a mazda 323 gt.

They don't come turbo'ed, but some guys put B6T's out of Mercury Capris and 323 GT(X)'s into them. I had a 323 GT and bought a tranny from a guy doing the swap, he used the festiva tranny and a B6T out of a Capri XR2 and runs 12's in a stock looking econobox.

Nice sig, I seen an LT1 in a 280zx, pretty damn nasty. I can't imagine an ls2 in it.

It was probably an open differential and was just switching to the wheel with least traction.
