I ended up browsing in the Kill sections of the ION redline forums. I thought this thread was pretty damn funny!!

The second thread I posted is where the real funny stuff happens. It's super long, though, but someone just pretty much rips on the whole forum for their ridiculous kill stories. There's plenty of LS1 bashing too!

the guy probably raced a 94 z28 with like 800,000 miles on it and hasnt had an oil change since 99.

It seriously sounds like he raced a V6.

Ion's are pathetic. Are they even running 14's stock? I guess they still have the mindset that 12's are sooooooo fast and 11's are a wet dream

low-mid 14s at best... in general, 3-4 tenths behind a 99-04 GT 5spd. But remember, they are supercharged, so little mods make a big difference.

you guys aren't giving the redline much credit. they trap nearly 100 mph stock the 14's are cuz traction is limited. With the right mods you would be surprised what these little cars can do.

from what their saying in that thread i should show respect to them?? I dont think so. Maybe if they gave us credit i would but they dont. Theres more Domestic bashing in there then i have ever seen. Its like when you go on a honda site and theres a civic hatch owner that has the D16 SOHC motor making 110whp saying he pulled a car and a half on a SLP SS. True??? Hell no but the other honda owners will hoot and holler about it. Fact? i think soo

I dont even have a LS1 and they pissed me off in there lol
