Default 1200HP Ford GT..WOOO...

OK...

I am sure most of you have already heard...or maybe you haven't about the Red Ford GT..running Twins and 1200hp....From Jax,FL

(I belive he's got more now..or in the process..close to 1500)

OK...

Now the reason I am posting..I am tired of everyone nutswinging on someone elses ride and about how fast and badass it is.

Of course I am jealous..because I may never be rich enough to own one, lol(nor do I care to own one though)

It is a sweet ride and he's got some serious stuff done, the only problem is he doesn't hook. (well since they don't make a 19in wrinkle wall)

I am just wondering if anyones got a daily driven LS-x powered vehicle that would be any match for this GT.

Now I do know there are some saweet rides here on LS1tech..that run well into the single digit range..But how about a ride that can compete from a 50 or 60 roll and take on the GT? (I know rolls are for ricers and bakeries)

I would like to just see someone come down here and give him some competition to hush everyone up for awhile..

I know this sounds weird and childish and imature...but I just wanna see what there is out there...

if he has enough money to build a 1500 horsepower twin turbo car, then he probably has enough to buy 15s, 16s and some slicks. whats the point in building a car that doesnt do what it supposed to do.
there are plenty of cars on here well into the single digits, but i really doubt anyone would want to do a roll race from any speed with two 1000+ cars, keep it on the track, where its meant to be. anyone laying down a legit 800+ hp car, built the car for a purpose and no body builds a car to do a roll race.

Yep, I have the MM&FF magazine with the feature on that car. I like the fact that the guy wasn't satisfied with a stock 550HP car. Most people who can afford cars like that polish them and let them sit in their climate controlled garage and drive them maybe 500 miles a year. It's not what the car was made for. Beat the snot out of it! If you can afford a GT, you can afford to fix it if it blows apart.

In reference to those who are always talkin' smack about how bad *** someone else's car is, this is the internet. You're going to find them everywhere. There will always be a faster car. I am sure there are a few Lingenfelter twin turbo vettes out there that could annihilate that GT any day.

you could put a 850 rwhp camaro or trans am up against that and guess what...if hes set up for traction hes going to win....its all about the driver, power (duh) but the most important thing is getting that to the road...anyone can go out with a 1000+ Hp car and burn the tires off it at 125mph...is it impressive?? hell yes...will it win races??? Hell no

and i totally agree....keep supercars like that on the track. No innocent person needs to get killed by 2 space shuttles racing.

I don't believe they even came close to winning an Outlaw 10.5 race
once this year...not too hardcore.

Not street racing related.
