Default Ricer Vs. 01 Cobra

i went out to walmart today to do some looking around and on my way back i see a nice Black Cobra. it was lowered on black saleens, saleen wing, Cobra R front bumper. pretty sure he only had Intake and Exhaust, maybe gears. i was driving the Evo, fully equipped with big wing, 4 inch sideways exhaust tip, and loud BOV...and a babyseat. i hear him hanging about 3500 rpm so i pull up to see whats up, i look ever to meet his gaze and **** eating grin on his face, as soon as i go down a gear he takes off, i hit it and start pulling on him, put about 2-3 cars on him and slow down. we come to a stop light and conviently we are both turning right onto a wide open 4 lane street. i round the turn and leave it in 1st waiting. he comes up and pulls to my side didnt sound like he was too enthused about going agian, but as soon as i tapped the gas he brought the RPMS up and hit it, as soon as i got boost i started yanking him. i let off about 110, with a 4-5 car lead. he pulled up and asked how much boost i was running i said "20 psi" which is stock. he siad he had nitrous but couldnt turn it on, had gauges and a cage. i was proud of my little ricer.

That exhaust, boost controller, and reflash must REALLY help you out...

I knew the BC's and reflash do.....turbo back?....I have also been told the 9s are much better than the 8s, but Ihave run into anyone with a 9. SO I don't know.

But..I/E 01 cobra would be a close run from a roll.....4-5 lengths....Then again....we all know..anything can happen ont eh street.

Yeah, that 13.3 in his sig is also fishy, considerin it's physically impossible for a 99-04 GT to run that time/trapspeed with just those two mods... but whatever

A IX with a TBE, Reflash and BC is a mid to low 12 sec car.

Why are you only running 20psi?

Well youre probably making silly power with 15-16psi. You can run 22psi everyday in the EVO no problem.
