Would you mind telling us what brand rotors you have, drilled slotted, etc?

I bought Baers (cross drilled and slotted) and one of the reasons was that they are gauranteed agaist warping and cracking for 3 years.

Just a quick reply, being lowered doesn't make the rotors any closer to the ground. Avoid cross drilled and slotted as the slotted rotors just eat pads quicker, and the cross drilled just cause weakness in the rotor. Watching Martinsville last weekend, they did a whole 20 minute segment on brakes and they said that the only reason they ever drilled a rotor was to reduce weight, but it came at a cost of cracking and eating up pads.

Stick with a solid rotor from a good name and bed them in properly and you'll be fine.

Are you kidding me? We are talking about brakes here, kind of a good thing to not risk failing..... Cracks are *BAD*. Think about how much power the car makes (a lot), and how long/far it takes to get to 60 mph. You stop from 60 in less time than it takes to accelerate to it. How much energy is being put through the brakes? What happens when a rotor breaks???????

If cost is an issue I have rotors that aren't junk for $45 each. I also have Brembo and ATE's up the scale. We even have a few rotors kits that give a bit of a discount for buying all 4 on the Brembo and ATE's.

All the above statements are right on the money.
