Default Pro kit and what shocks?

I have a pro kit on my car and stock shocks. The shocks are worn out and the ride is pretty rough. I'm looking for a shock that will help with traction issues. I have heard a few things about Comp Engineering drag shocks, but didn't see much about how they would handle the lowering springs. What shocks would you recommend to me for improving traction. I'm not worried about handling as it's mostly a straight line car. Thanks

you have pro kit and stock springs?

I am very happy with my strange engineering shocks, but they are coilovers up front so you'd be replacing the front spring too.

Thanks for noticing that typo for me. I meant shocks of course.

I was really looking for some info on drag shocks that would work good with the pro kit springs. I just noticed the Comp Engineering shocks because of their price.

Does comp engineering make a front drag shock for the LS1 cars? I only see a rears and the year only goes up to '99?

Looks like they don't make front shocks for our cars.

Thanks for the input. I'll probably go with the comps in the rear when the time gets here. Just looking for some front shocks now.

The stock shocks arent valved correctly for lowering springs. You arent going to be happy with the ride until you put shocks all the way around

Yea I know..

I was planning on doing the rears first then the front as they are more expensive.

I like my QA1s, but I have coilovers all the way around. I'm sure they would be good with the Eibachs though.
