the purpose of a panhard bar is 2 keep the rearend and the body of the car from swaying 2 far away from eachother, an adjustable one lets u play with how much the rearend and the body can sway from eachother, it will improve handling of the vehicle.

The panhard ("rear tie rod") keeps the axle located left-right wrt to the car.

if you dont plan on ever lowering or puting bigger rear tires on then you dont need adjustable... adjustable is mainly to center the car over the axle... although some cars are not centered from the factory.

If you have a tire close to rubbing on one side and not the other, go for it.

Hello,

The panhard is what keeps the rear end under the vehicle side to side, it runs parallel with the rear end. A 315 wide tire is close... sometimes they rub and sometimes you will be ok... we notice mostly the 315's will rub around a corner when the rear end shifts. I recommend a adjustable panhard bar when running tires that wide... if the vehicle is lowered or you plan on lowering it then the adjustable panhard bar is almost a must.

We offer a variety of adjustable panhard bars for you, please take a look at the link below and let me know if you need any help and I will be glad too.

Thank you!

Just to give you another option we offer several versions of our non adjustable and adjustable panhard bars. In your case with such a large tire i would get an adjustable bar to make sure that you have the body centered over the tires. We have a poly/poly bushing pan hard bar or a poly/rod bar both are adjustable and available in chrome moly if you would like that feature. Here is a link to our site with all of the bars and other products that we offer for the f bodies. If you have any questions our tech dept is open till 6pm est. mon-fri.

you might as well get the adjustable version of anything, because you never know what you may do down the road. might as well pay a little extra now, rather then having to buy another brand new part a year or two later.

I just got the UMI adj panhard and adj LCA's and they are very nice pieces. I am lowered with 315's and almost wrecked one b4 i noticed that it was rubbing in hard corners. I rolled the fender and pounder the seam on the inner wheel and it was fine but it was still offset so I ordered these. Get the adj one for sure.
