How Many of you M6 guys launch hard with DRs and a Trans Mounted TA

Default How Many of you M6 guys launch hard with DRs and a Trans Mounted TA

Just got a Strange S60, and M/T Streets are in the future. I'm wondering if it will be a problem with a my aftermarket tranmission mounted TA? Car is heavy but only 356rwhp and 360rwtq.

Im too chicken. Waiting till I can afford a UMI tranny cross member with the relocation bracket.

I just installed my UMI TA relocation bracket just because I was afraid of breaking the tail shaft housing. Last year I did 11.25 with a stock TA and M/T radails and it didnt break but I dont trust the stock TA mount with an after market TA.

6700 RPM dump.... stock torque arm. it held up several times. went 1.4 60's on it.

4K dumps on Nittos, random tech torque arm. 8 years this way, weak *** 10-bolt too. Then again my times are not that great and I'm lowered.

I side step the clutch at 6500-6600 with the stock torque arm.

I broke several tranny mounts while racing my 93 T/A M6.....I ended up with a spohn torque arm.

To be honest all DR's I have used has an on/off switch and I leave at 5k dump. a 26" tall ET Drag made all the diff running on BMR tq arm, rear LCA's.

Once you throw a cam in there its really going to show the DR's inconsistancy with a M6. But your not making enough power to worry, some line lock and a good burnout will work fine.
