Default Replacing Master Cylinder

My car has ABS so is it possible for me to replace the master cylinder without having to take it to the garage for the tech II?

yes. master cylinder is before ABS. really, the only time you would need a tech II is when you are replacing the ABS.

you bleed it at the calipers on the car but when you replace the master cylinder you are suppose to bench bleed it before putting it on.........no not the brake booster....the brake master cylinder in front of the brake booster.....I have an auto so Im not sure about the M6 guys.....

I sealed off my open brake lines with cling wrap to minimize the chances of air getting into the system when I replaced my master cylinder. Didn't really need to bleed it at the calipers once I bled it at the ABS block.
