Default Driving without a panahrd bar ???

Would it do any damage to my car if I were to drive it without a panhard bar for a few miles.

im no expert but i dont think thats a very good idea...Panhard rod is what keeps your rear from moving side to side. at the very least it would probably ruin your u-joints but im sure far worse can happen.

I wouldnt do this no way. Its not like its a sway bar, this is a VITAL part of your rear suspension and alignment.

Thumbs up Don't do it man!

Yeah........NOT A GOOD IDEA! There will be a lot of bending and binding going on. If you have any other questions feel free to ask and I will be glad to help.
Thanks

I have to call BS on the last post, Maybe he did not have an upgraded one on, but with no PHB on the car he would be lucky to get out of his driveway.

i think he was joking lol if he wasn't what a misleading retard

dude if you drive with out a pan bar you can ruin your whole rear end strut joints and cause damage that will kill you alignment for good... well unless you go to a body shop

if you try to take a turn without a PHB, you're likely to do any/all of the following:

1) bend your LCA's and/or the mounting points on the body/axle for them
2) blow out your u-joints and/or bend the driveshaft
3) break the torque arm mount (at the very least) on the transmission, or break off the tailshaft of the transmission itself
4) have your rear springs pop off the spring perches on the rear axle

i'm sure there's more things that could happen, but if this isn't enough to deter you, then you deserve whatever else happens!

Good points, all of them, however you missed "Jam your tires into the quarter panels or inner fenders, depending on your ride height, both chewing up the tires and crunching the body"......

ill ask him. i wasn't aware of some of the outcomes of not having a phb. his camaro is down too tin and is used for road racing. it has a lot of problems at the moment (i don't know y) i just talked to him last night and he can't drive it for the time being but i will let you all know in the next few days to clear up this controversy. whether im right or wrong the car still handles fukin amazing and we wern't even pushing it. i really don't want to spend the money on the shocks and springs but the sale is coming to an end and in order to complete the stano package with my bars... i need them!
anyone interested in stock shocks?lol

Why dont you have a panhard bar? If it is a new build, don't you have a stock one to use?
