Default Got Some Questions On Doing A Rake Stance?

So I'm thinking about going with a rake stance look for my Camaro... Does anyone have suggestions on what shocks, springs, etc to go with. I am wanting to lower it 1" in the front & maybe keep it stock in the rear? I'm wondering if that will make it drive like **** though or have any problems?

Right now its stock with 17's up front & 18's in the rear. Might go with some different rims & taller DR tires in the back also...

Rooster, any suspension changes in the rear or just lowering springs in the front? Great looking car BTW!

Might be stranos all around, I was also considering a rake stance and wanted to experiment with sportlines in the front since there some of the lowest springs out there and stranos or similar hight springs in the rear for that rake look. But I have heard everyone say sportlines handle bad so I dont want to make a mistake and regret it. Rooster99ss on stranos changes my look on stranos though, i thought stranos had a higher stance but they look great.

Thanks for the compliments guys! It's Strano springs on all 4 corners with KYB AGX shocks at the moment, but I'll be switching to Koni's real soon.

Only other suspension mods are BMR LCA's, UMI relocation brackets, Spohn adj. PHB, UMI adj. front mount relocated torque arm. The stance you see is 100% Strano and the M/T drag radials kinda kicked up the back a little bit when I put them on

BTW, Sportlines ride HORRIBLE! I've rode in a couple of friends' cars that had them and it's like riding in a go-cart (no suspension). Every bump you hit it jars your teeth out of your head. I will say that a Sportline drop is the best looking IMO, but it's purely looks. The ride sucks!

My car rides almost like a Cadillac

Hotchkiss fronts, stock rears w/ hose mod came out real
nice. About 1" front drop and 3/4" rear drop. 1" all around
looked slightly wrong in a dragging-*** way (that's the
sig pic).

I would run M/T but my rear our 18's so I'm deciding if I wanna get different wheels or just different wheels in the rear that our wider. Might go with Nitto NT05R in the rear because they got a good variety of sizes. Because right now my rears our 9.5" wide. I wish stupid M/T had 295s on 18" rim!

its more find a tall/wide rear and a shorter/narrower front. Let the smaller front tire contact patch put the front end lower a bit and let the height of the rear tire keep it in the air. I catn find any pictures of my car before i took all the weight out of the front end and it lifted right back up. ill try and find some tomorrow for you.
