Default Anyone Using A Jack Bolt Setup??

Like the title says. I ordered some 10" 150# rear springs and am planning on using a "jack bolt" setup so I can get a little bit of adjust-ability in the ride height in the rear.

I'm just wondering if anyone else is using a setup like this?

Another option for you is to get some circle track car coil over parts and make it adjustable that way. You can assemble your own collars for the rear to adjust the height. Price wouldn't be much either.

I have Gabriel air shocks out back and a pair of Schraders
in the license plate surround, which makes it fully adjustable.

Out of curiousity, do you guys with the weight jackers in the rear have problems with the spring becoming unseated if you let the axle go full droop?

Anyone have pics of their setup? I have seen a couple of setups and have an idea in my head of what I'm doing, but I like seeing other setups

I've probable said this before, but get a ridetech rear cool ride kit and run manual air valves your look at ~$400. I've been running my car like this for years, and I have no regrets running it this way at all; works great for me!

I have been using a type of weight jck for well over a year now with no issues. I have adjusted it multiple times with other mods and think they were a great little project.
I installed mine a bit different, above the axle Iused a big holesawbit to drill outthe factory location and welded in my adjustment plate. Then Iused a set of factory isolators over the adjustment screw.

I have mine setup for that right now, but I'm not sure if I can make it work with the MWC rear. If it does work then I plan on using it, but if not I have the 150# springs and will build a jack bolt or weight jack. But I'm not going to cut up my rear axle, the thing is beautiful and I feel bad just putting it under my car haha.

Here's the MWC rear with my puny little failed 8.8

I sure hope it works, I plan on using my rear air springs with my MWC9 when I get it.

The bottom of the firestone 9000 air springs should fit right over the top of the L & R spring retainers on the spring seats.

I didn't really look that hard. Do you have your airbags bolted to the axle? Or do they just sit on the coil spring mount? One of my bags has a leak and I was worried that I burned a hole in it welding, but I will find out this weekend for sure. I'm going to take the bags out and see if I have a leak in the schrader valves, the fittings, or the bag itself. But my coil springs will be here tomorrow, at least I will have a backup plan if I don't like the bags.

Thanks for the response. When is our axle suppose to be done? Its WAY cooler getting to see it in person vs all of the pics

They just sit over the top of the coil spring mount, their bolted up top.

Should be done in 3 weeks!
