Default What would you recommend, Street Applications

I purchased my car lowered and had an issue with the rear passenger side saging about an inch. Instead of fixing the issue I'd like to change out the springs and shocks all together for street applications. I want to put long tube headers on and don't want to worry about crushing them however I love the lowered look. My wife and and both of my kids ride in the car as well so I need to take into account their weight so I'm not rubbing or bottoming out. The car is an 02 Camaro SS. What would you recommend?

Thanks,

John

Everyone is different.

DO NOT GET SPORTLINES.

Not that I got that out of the way, I think some Bilstein's, with BMR springs would nice for you.

Personally I elected to cut a little off my stock springs. Does everything I need it to do and was cost effective while looking great. Rides just fine if you stay on the conservative side.

You cant go wrong with BMR or Strano springs, they are both great, but BMR springs sit higher in the rear and have a slightly higher spring rate, they should take the rear passengers a little better, remember i said should.

From what I can gather I currently have the pro eibachi springs on the car. They are black rather then red like the sportlines. If I stayed with these springs and went with bilsteins or koni struts would that fix my issue of the sag on the one side?

As much as I'd like to wait this problem needs to be assessed. Loaded with the wife and kids there is a constant rub. After reading and further research it looks like I'm going to go with strano springs. I'm still looking into the best route for my application as far as struts. Car will not see the track much if at all...pretty much all street car.

Koni's or bilsteins are also a good replacement

Not sure how much drop you are looking for, but our springs offer about 1.25" all around. Every car sits a little different based on weight, shock combo, etc. But we have had no complaints as far as ride quality with our springs

No the shocks won't affect the sagging. That's definitely the eibach springs which are known to sag. I think most springs end up leaning a little bit, but not nearly as bad as eibach.

Strano or BMR ride height territory, you will probably want a set of long tubes that tuck up pretty well. I have kooks which tuck up pretty well with strano springs. Riding around on the road never any issues with the headers bottoming out. You may get some rubbing though on a speed bump. I can usually avoid it if I am carefull.

Konis did fix the issue...kept the eibach springs.
