Default suspension set up for drag radials

Looking for any insight on helping hook my 97 trans am on drag radials. Car is making just over 400 hp to the tires now with a vigilante 3500 converter. Was thinking about some lca relocation brackets. Dont want to add alot of weight. What seems to work best?

Remove front sway bar. LCA relocation brackets are good. Summit shocks on rear if first two don't work..

Sway bar has been gone for years. OK if the lca relocation brackets will work I don't mind spending that 100 bucks. That's minimal weight gain.

Yes. I may either box my stock control arms or get new ones later. Stock torque arm though.

Some good lower control arms is a good place to start along with relocation brackets.
I recently done some modification to my lca's and my car is hooking very well now.
I have a thread about it if your interested.

Sorry buddy but you need very little suspension work if you are running a good tire like an ET street radial. You can take a 275/40/17 et radial into the 1.5x range with LCAs relo brackets and nothing else.

Honestly it shouldn't take too much to get the car to hook especially if you are going to be running good drag radial like a Mickey Thompson or Hoosier. If you don't have any other suspension mods a set of tubular lower control arms and lower control arm relocation brackets would definitely be a good place to start.
