What else should I replace when I put a new rack and pinion in?
I assume my rack and pinion needs to be changed because I noticed there was a good amount of power steering fluid under the passenger side of the car lately. What else should I replace when I put a new rack in? Also, I was looking up new rack and pinions on rock auto and saw that there are different ones (f41, fe2, fe4, and fe7) what one is correct?
My car never had a power steering cooler since it's a z28, would it be worth adding an aftermarket one now?

I replaced the pump and lines while I was at it, just to have new everything and be worry free. If you want to make life easier should you have to remove the rack again, put the bolts back in pointing up so you don't have to lift the engine.
The F** options you asked about are suspension related. Just look on your door sticker, if it's still there.

well go ahead and do new outer tie ends since you get new inners with the new rack as for which rack, there are 2 and I have posted about this in other threads, if you look at the Cardone units you have 2 model numbers:
22-150
22-185
the 22-150 is the v6/lt1 rack and the 22-185 is the ls1 rack, it doesn't matter if it had the power steering cooler or not ALL LS1 cars used the same rack.

Thanks for that info. I'll probably get the cardone unit from rock auto.
If I wanted to install a new cooler all I'd have to do is run the return line from the rack to the cooler and then a new line to the pump, correct?

general consensus is you don't need a cooler unless your auto-x or something like that, if you do run a cooler make sure it's NOT a factory cooler, which was plumbed into the upper (I think, might be lower) radiator hose which is prone to failing and mixing power steering fluid and anti-freeze, which is quite the mess to clean out of both systems.
