Just a little FYI for the guys on a budget. Went and picked up a set of new rotors today for 31 bucks a piece . Rotors are made by Bendix, which is a decent company. Stop great, don't make noise and don't wobble.
Prob. not the "best" option out there, but for 31 bucks definately the most cost-efficient..

Not saying these are cheap rotors
But I bought a cheap set a few months ago for my gf's jeep, they were like $24 ea I think. She made it about 5 miles and the car shook like crazy. We brought it back and looked, here they were cracked already! in 4 spots. I ended up returning them and paying extra for a good brand. Been working great ever since.
Just thought i would share my experience

The are BENDIX rotors, which are not by any means an off-brand or cheapo company. Bendix has been around for years, and supplies probably 50% of the entire country's part stores with brake hardware. Their only real competitor is Raybestos..
ZaneO, yes this thread is only 24 hrs old . I've got about 60 miles on the rotors now, doing fine....

I'm running Bendix rear rotors. My pads are about gone back there and the rotors are still fine (my pads eat the rotors, but that is not the rotors fault).

Advance DOES now carry the Bendix rotors for the front of our cars but those rotors are $73.28 each and as of yet, Advance Auto does not have anything for the rear of our cars.
I am curious to hear how your rotors hold up though, because I may be getting some of the 'Wearevers' myself. I just cant see me dumping $100.00 or so bucks each for a rotor if I know damn well that the way I abuse my brakes that my car will KILL the rotors in a year (or 10k miles). I love the way that these cars stop so hard and smooth when the rotors are 'fresh' and for 31.28 each I could afford to KEEP fresh rotors on it...

i work at advance and the bendix brake parts are the best quality we sell. im not sure on the prices but 31 for bendix sounds really cheap. most likely that would be the wearever series rotors.
