It only goes in one way. The bolt plate desing only allows to be put in one way.

Has your car been in an accident?

Mine fit just fine.

Call Founders and send them pictures, I'm willing to bet they will take care of it for you.

Maybe someone can chime in on the distance between the inner bolt holes on their STB and you can compare. That way you'll know if it is out of spec, or your car is out of spec

Put a jack under the k-member and jack the car up until the front tires come off the ground, this will relax the towers. Then try.

Make sure you don't have the car in a bind if it's up on jack stands.

you'll definitely want to have the car centered on level ground to install a strut brace.

Try what others said, if it doesn't work your car might have had front impact.

I went through the same thing when I got a strut tower brace and ditched the idea.

Here we go AGAIN.......

The upper bolts of the shocks come into the engine bay at an angle, therefore, in order to get a properly fitting STB in place, you have to disconnect the sway bar on one side of the car, remove all 4 bolts that hold the shock/spring assembly in place, lift the front of the car underneath the front cross member, and on the side you disconnected the sway bar, push down on the suspension on that side of the car until the upper ends of the bolts almost disappear into the wheel well. Then place the STB over the bolts and bring the bolts back up into place. The STB will then fit.....

I try it without any suspensión. I was rebuilding my Front suspensión with strano Springs and koni sa. Wben I put the stb it was without swaybar and also I check the bolt goles without the shocks. It is also on Wheel stands. The top bolt check at 35 1/2
