Default Chrome plating the calipers...................?

Is it ok to just plate the outside half of the caliper that you can see?

Any heat problems that will effect a pure street car?

I was going to polish them and chrome plate the brackets, but it would look good if they were all chrome.

How are you going to chrome plate just the outside half of a caliper?

That half caliper wouldn't be chrome for long...

Your best bet is too polish, or powdercoat the caliper. You will be able to get away with chroming the brackets. But there's no way you're going to chrome half a caliper.

Why not, what would happen to it?

A chrome company told me it would be no problem. Is he wrong?

With only half of it being plated, I could see it easily chipping in no time. Youd be better off polishing and clearcoating them.

yeah for one it will chip off and besides chrome holds heat and heat causes brake fade.

What does it look like? Any pics anywhere?

I want them to be mirror-like shiny.
