So, I'm looking to lower my car with washers, would you recommend revalved, single adjustables, or the pricey dual adjustables to help dampen my new lowered washer stance? I hope the progressive rate washers don't make the rear sag. I just hope this is in the right forum, some of you guys are vicious about posting washers in the wrong one.

Does anyone know where I can get a washer temp guage for my interior? I think mine may be overheating. I think that jpr's may be as well.... I need to avoid breakdown.

I Speed Density tuned my washers and found that they had less power on the dyno, but were faster at the track than my MAF tuned washers.

That depends. The single adjustables have to be removed in order to adjust, the duals can be adjusted on the car. Your call, depends on how often you need to change the settings.

I was wondering if they were going to make an E85 flat washer. I want to be environmentally friendly, after all.
OTOH, I also want a NASCAR flat washer, because all of them would have to look and perform the same.

E85 washers are a joke.. sure they cost less, but you have to buy more washers then regular gasoline washers... so in the long run, it costs more...
it all becomes a wash....

NASCAR flat washers have nothing on the CART, IRL, or F1 washers... although my personal favorate washers are MOTOGP and Superbike.. but they only work when you stand them up on the side of the washer. if you lay them down flat, they dont work very well.

I have to admit, I had to stop crying and laughing before I could answer this.
I spoke to my Siamese cat, and she could give a hoot. So I took a home survey, with these resutls. TV-standard washers. Stereo-upgraded DTS washers. Dishwasher - waterprooof washers. Lazyboy - fatass washers.

FYI: washers actually have a right side up and a wrong side up. The vast majority are stamped and you want the rounded ID under the head of the bolt. If you get the sharp edge from stamping facing out you can pop the head of the bolt off from the stress riser interacting with the the radius under the head. It's especially true with hardened washers.

Also Nordlock washers kick ***...

LS1 cars are still arnt old enough to be compatabile with topless washers... my thirdgen is old enough, but i found out that the topless washers dont get along with a dirty old car.

Oh you mean the Washer Of Tomorrow or WOT ... I always thought WOT stood for something else.

There is also Bio-Washers, the by-product of galled threads.

Does anyone have any hard research numbers on the net HP/TQ gains of various washers in respect to applied boost? I am specifically interested in the dynamic interaction between the optimum HP curve and a the torque curve in relation to specific washer diameter and their respective hole sizes.

So, where do you place the O2 sensor for California washers?
And are there CARB approved washers?
