Read the stickies before so you can get a good general idea about the big break kits out there. Wilwoods are good because they can fit under a 17" wheel unlike the others, but have no dust boot so they're require more maintenence than other big break kits. Search is ur friend

Most people get the kit fom here http://www.umiperformance.com/page.php?page=c5conv. You can also assemble the kit together yourself from various venders.
I am going to upgrade my front brakes to the C6 ZO6 calipers, rotors and pads real soon. As a member on here has already pointed out it can be done https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=761514.The mounting brackets for the C5 and C6 brake kits are the same. So you decide what way you want to go. Just remember the brake kit you go with is going to impact the wheels you can put on the vehicle.
