dont have to remove the whole shifter assembly... there is a 'fill' plug on the side of the tranny. you just buy a gear oil pump (sometimes called an outboard motor pump) from pep boys or wherever for like $6. the pump is like the pump on a soap bottle with a hose coming off it to stick in the fill hole.
and actually, if you're just topping off a leaking tranny as opposed to doing an entire fluid change, i'd much more recommend using the fill plug as opposed to the tranny method, because the only real way to know if its filled to the right level is to fill it till it starts dripping from the fill hole.

my hole truck starts shaking when i get it in gear and accelarate or when i want to come to a complete stop i put in neutral and it still vibrates, i pick up the two back tires and i put in gear and i saw that the tranny and motor were shaking i also saw that the crooss member was kinda arching do u think thats what is causing my truck to vibrate
