Getting hid's would take a while if your going to oder from DDM and i would recommend the open housing kit. also would take time to ship.
depends on how fast u want your quick fix.

I have placed a couple orders with them, always prompt shipping. I placed an order in the middle of last week, received it tuesday afternoon. I have never heard of the open housing kit, what is it?

theres a company out there (not naming due to sponsor rules?) that sell's our head light housings that are open in the back (not sealed beams) and it lets you put in a standard H7 bulb in there hid. proper way to install hid's on our cars.
i believe there is a Projector kit for lt1's on the same website
just google. "trans am hid conversion" should be the first hit.
good luck.

the stock lights certainly do suck... i got silverstar's for my 3rd gen and its like a night and day difference (pun fully intended).

however, i do not believe they even make silverstars for the 4th gen TA.
your only upgrade path is the sylvania 'xtra vision' series, which is a little better than stock.

Kino's Auto Accessories - 214-467-8060

I had a kit on my 2008 silverado, and on my 2000 z28 before and they both were easy to install, and looked/worked great...
