Anyone have any connections for a good price on a pair of 295/35/18's in Houston ? I ran over something in my C5 the other day and it put an unrepairable hole in my tire. Right before Christmas of course !

Just thought I would ask before I purchased.

Thanks ! I will look into the Nittos, I was pricing BFG KD's and they were around $244 each, which isn't horrible, just bad timing.

I had the bfg's on my c5 at one time, was ok tire for traction but were pretty loud

I got my 295 x 18 firestone wide ovals for around 200 each, this was 2 years ago. They have decent grip and have held up pretty well. I am not sure if the wide oval is still available or another model has taken its place.

That is what I have on mine now, and I think they are around the same price as the Firestone in Cypress offered a pair to me for $580 installed.

Of course, no one has them in stock, so anyway you look at it, I am special ordering them. Seems to be a common problem with Vette tires, lol.

I just thought maybe someone who worked at a shop may be able to offer a "forum discount" .

This just pisses me off.... not really pissed just dissapointed. I have been looking for some for the past two months. Just needed a set of used because I dont drive mine very often... damn it guys if you have **** to sell check the classified section to see if anyone is looking for some.
