Default G-z06 ?

Were you at HMP a few weeks ago on a Sunday night?

If so, wow, you were moving,
I was impressed.
6.14 on Radials is ridiculous! IMO

Badass!

I was going to ask you about your car, but looks like you left kinda early.

So, from the lack of response I am going to assume this was not the same car,

Who drives the Silver C5 Z06 that was hauling *** on radials ?
I have never seen a radial car get out like that.

That is what it is looking like,
it was very quiet for a car that can probably get in at least the low 9's.

Guess, I am a Spoiler

I know G's car is quick but i think its setup up for roll racing. I cant see his full weight car with his suspension running 6.14... I could be wrong though.

I don't think it was him. I don't know if anyone ever considered a F1 "quiet"

That is what I said when I saw a low 6 on radials,

Here say at the track from someone else,
is that the owner said it made 850 on the dyno,
and the guy is in his early 30's.

I was by the starting line, saw his pass,
and then was looking for the car in the pits about 30 minutes later,
but could not find it, apparently he made 2-3 passes early in the night and jetted. Drove in and out of the track, and like I said, a Radial tire, I assume a drag radial.

So we have established it is not GZ06,

I guess we are to assume the person is not on this board,
I am sure they will surface again. Next time I will be a lil more prompt in chasing down the owner and checking out the car.
The car sounded just like an MTI 422 or 427 car that I have seen and heard in Austin before, It sounded like a hopped up Viper, with that crazy VW kind of sound they have when they are really tricked out. If anyone has ever heard the red C5 that SW in Austin had a few years ago, this car sounded just like it.
I assume it was on alot of bottle and had some insane driver mod.

I guess there is a phantom silver C5 running around Houston.

I wasn't paying attention to mph,
I was trying to find my lower jaw, it fell off when I realized he was 300ft out in still in front of a car on tires that pulled the tires about 3 feet in the other lane.

It had to have been an auto,
It moved out! and I don't remember it moving around the track alot.
and like I said, sounded strange, (see earlier description)

It might have been minitubbed, I could not tell, but it had at least 17" wheels on it,
I wasn't thinking much until it staged, and I heard the wild sound.

Good luck, and glad you recognize the need for track experience,
that is probably the #1 improvement most people can make in their ET's.
No substitute for seat time.

Holla when you are going to HMP, I will probably be there racing.

I have been racing at the track for 5-6 years and I would say I am "decent" In the video with cameo's car I was cutting 1.7's/H1.6's on street tires.

Just dont have any experience with "this car" at the track.

We setup quite a few racing days on HPD, so I will keep you informed

Damn 5-6 year, Im going to need the back tire and move at North vs South. Since I have 2 year less experience at the track, and a car with over a 100 less hp.
