just picked up a TBSS!!
Just picked this up from cleveland a few days ago...'06 TBSS, 25k miles, 2WD
im likin it alot so far, it pretty much just feels like a big sports car haha. Brakes good, handles good, plenty of power at pretty much any speed

Do you really think it brakes well? I test drove one and got scared. Maybe it's because i'm used to how good my brakes are... :dunno:

reject i got it for 20k out the door, still under factory bumper to bumper warranty too
renzos i believe the 2wd's are .2 quicker, the awd's are a little heavier and ive heard they have some problems with the transfer cases
utevo...yea it brakes good for a big suv. not as good as my camaro but that is 3k #s lighter too

Welcome to the TBSS family. I just joined on 12/31 w/an 08 model. Got any mods on your 06?
IMO the brakes do pretty good for a 2 ton SUV. When new I wasn't too impressed, but after a few hundred miles they felt better. They're C5 sized rotors, calipers and pads.
I'm having to get used to the higher RPM at highway speeds.

no mods yet, still researching what im gonna do first but it looks like a tune and lowering it are at the top of the list.
Thanks for the call the other day to make sure we made it home alright ryan - we drove 21 hours straight but it was worth it to get home the next afternoon and have some time to clean it before i went out
