Husky Socket sets suck
Never buy husky socket sets from Home Depot. I have always been a Craftsman, NAPA fan and made the mistake of buying a Husky set. I have broke the 3/8's drive, the 9/16 socket, and the 1/2 socket. Inspection reveals very poor quality. Those tools will let you down when you need them the most.

Re: Husky Socket sets suck
I've split a couple of Craftsman 6-point deep
sockets on stubborn SBC head bolts. But they
gave me new ones. I learned to use the cheap-***
flea market import 1/2" impact deeps and a
breaker bar. More steel less break.
Never bought Husky, guess there's no need to start.

I've broken all of the Husky ratchets as well. No sockets though. You can take them back to HD and get replacements, sometimes the replacements are better than the ones in the kits.

Yea, I have to admit I have broken some Craftsman sockets and a ratchets, but the replacments always lived on. I just like um.
When I took my rockers off they all had a real sharp "SNAP". Just tight from heat cycling, I think.
