Default Banned?

Not sure if it's a forum glitch or what, but I'm a long time member that hasn't been active on the site since 2008 or so. Logged back in recently and, though I can read everything and access the classifieds, etc, if I click on a photo, it tells me that I have been banned and says "no reason given". Trying to figure out how I could be banned when I haven't even been on the site in years and, to my knowledge, have never violated any of the policies.

Mods, any help?

Yeah, I'm even more confused after going back and reading all of my posts dating back to 2002. Never have I had a cross word with anyone or posted commercial or **** spam.

PM Jermey T, I hadn't been on LS1.com but only once and one time I went on there and it said I was banned for some reason, I don't even have an account so this was an IP issue I presume. Sent the site admin an email and got it cleared up.

Problem is, it looks like being banned precludes me from pm'ing anyone. Catch 22 I guess.

There's a Contact Us in the bottom footer that you can use to send an email to the website: https://ls1tech.com/forums/sendmessage.php

Your account shows it was restricted by CRAGER: https://ls1tech.com/forums/member.php?u=55 and it's not apparent to me as to why but I'm not part of the moderation team. I'm sure CRAGER or perhaps RPM WS6: https://ls1tech.com/forums/member.php?u=317 can help and I'll give them the heads up.

Your account was not banned (you're posting here right now), but was set to Restricted User status for non-sponsor soliciting.

Sent an email to the site. Not sure what I would have been soliciting unless it was a problem with my sig at one point as I used to own one of the site's competitors for a specific marque at one time several years ago.

And I do apologize, but "Banned" is the message I get on my end when I try to click on stuff.
I can honestly say, that if I was doing something wrong, I didn't know it at the time and I never had a mod tell me that I was doing anything wrong. I guess that's why I'm confused. That and I'm getting old.

As mentioned above by CRAGER, you have not been banned but there are certain restrictions on your account for non-sponsor soliciting....

....and looking at your old signature it seems that this would in fact be the explanation.
