SS is simply an option package, just like WS6.

Everything will say Z28 or V8. Like stated before its simply an option package, but all SS's start as Z-28's.

yea... but luckily I caught it eventually (after like 4 years ). If I had gotten in an accident they probably could have weaseled their way out of it. You know they'd try... even though it wasn't my fault and they F'ed up inputting the information into their system. I always thought the VIN # would make that impossible to happen. Just goes to show....

I was lucky. My SS was labeled as an RS for the longest time..they finally changed it after a year and it went up haha
