Arrow Tuning Technologies in Colton, CA.

Has anyone been there to dyno tune their cars. I am thinking about going there so they can dyno tune my 2002 Z28 A4 but I dont know if they are a reputable shop. Someone post a.s.a.p. Thanks.

BTW, I tried to contact them just for dyno time, not to tune.

Contact Scott at Vangordon and Brown in Claremont if you want local (to Fontana) dyno tuning: 909-626-5232

They did great work on my car.

I never had a car dyno tuned before, so I dont know what to look for. How many hours do you guys think a dyno tune would last? Since they charge like $165/hour. Thanks guys.

Time is dependent upon your mods. I personally wouldn't take my car to a place that charged by the hour. If they know what they are doing, they should have a good idea how long it will take.

go to a place that charges a flat rate for your tune, dependent on your mods that way they can spend all day on your car, and it will still only cost the same price.

Just a note:

Jeff tuned my car twice. I just had it tuned at another shop with no changes to the car what so ever. The shop spent 3 + hours and did 12 pulls and they got another 14 HP and 48 torq out of the car and it is way safer now. Plus the driveabilty is way better and so is idle.

Jeff had my A/F set at 14.0 to 13.8 all the way across the board and the timing set at 16. He also forgot to change my fan settings and had them set at stock settings. I also have a 160 thermostat. Also note I asked for a safe tune.

My new tune A/F is 12.4 to 12.6 all the way across the board and picked up 14 HP and 48 torq to the wheels.

Also note Jeff only had my car on the dyno for maybe 30 minutes. I wasted alot of money with Jeff. It would be nice to get my money back but that will never happen.

I will bring the dyno sheets form Jeff's tune and the new tune to our meeting so everyone can see them.

Take it for what it is worth but I do have the dyno sheets to prove everything.

The only mods are Hooker LTs and Y-pipe (no cats), GMMG cat-back, SLP lid and K&N filters. The car is a 2002 Z28 (32K miles).
