you'd be making a serious mistake going 3.73s man. You wouldnt even notice the difference. Ive made that mistake before when i first got a rear. I swapped the 3.73s out in short order for 4.30s and was a very happy customer.

4.11s at the MINIMUM. 4.11s are like 2k rpms cruising at 80 in 6th, pretty damn streetable imo. I personally would go for 4.30s, i had them for along while and they were awesome to drive. Only time they become a prob is when your making lots of power and need more gear in order to finish the quarter in 4th.

Especially for a car that doesnt make much power, they'd be perfect man. Especially for the 1/8

your trans will be fine for a LONG while as long as your hydraulics are functioning properly. Mine saw 500+ rwhp for a long while with no complaints. What finally killed it was a dragging clutch

yeah i pretty much now that the t56 is sturdy, it was just that gut feeling for a second while im out in the middle of nowhere that there is potential for anything given my luck, but after the trans obviously shifter perfect i knew it was the rear

no problem man. I honestly think 4.30s would be the best choice for your car. Especially since you have slicks, your 60's would drop NICELY. Whatever you do, don't go lower then 4.11s even for street duty

yeah lol i have done that in damn near every gear at least once, when i first got the car, going from my other manual camaro with its 4 speed to a t56, is different, took some getting used to but it think i got it down, and yeah trans if all good hear, knock on wood.

the car jumps up nicely when thrown into second eh? lol kinda scary, like you dont want to let the clutch back out becasue your scared of what might have happened
