Default Any of our sponsors build trannys???

My A4 took a ***** last night. Not completely (this tranny is a friggin trooper) but enough that if you don't know how to drive it you're not getting out of first and if you do you're slipping through the rest...

I need one to handle about 450-500rwhp (eventually) last the occasional 100-150 dry shot and be cam (230/232 on a 112 + 2) friendly.

Stall now is a Fuddle 3600 that is basically a 4000 with the cam, looking for a something different probably...

Any of our sponsors build trannys?

Cool... I'll give Ryne a call to see if they build theirs. If he just outsources it I might as well go to Rob. I was planning on just buying a built one and having Rob put it in (they put my converter in for $300 I figured it would probably be the same but haven't called yet) but I figured if there was a shop that built their own I'd go there for warranty (to also cover labor) reasons...

James, thanks for the offer but it'd be pretty silly to put a stock tranny in this thing

Yeah, after I typed that I realize it read wrong... I meant I was posting here as opposed to tranny section to be local.

I thought about Toy Shop but didn't think they were a sponsor and figured I'l try our sponsors first...

My buddy Neil mentioned it... Does it just bolt in? Do you still need a built 4L80E or just a stock one?

I assume it would hold more power but I won't make more than 500-550 to the wheels when all is said and done...
