Default 335/30/18 tire on 18 x 12" wheel.......couple questions.....?

These will be 18 x 10.5" OE Wheels widened to 12"

I don't know how their offsets are......

I plan to hammer the **** out of the inner wheel wells for clearance so that shouldn't rub the tires.

BUT........If I use 1/2" spacers will that be enough so my tires dont rub my LCA's....?

I checked out that thread.....if you used 1/2" spacers will the tire rub the LCA's or inner well where you did some cutting....?

I was using 1.25" spacers and I didn't rub anywhere. I just mini-tubbed the car, put off-set LCAs on, and plan on putting the 335s back on. I was doing some eyeballing and it looks like I'm going to need a 1/4" spacer to clear the LCAs. I'm not sure until I get the tires mounted on the wheels...I was eyeballing with only the 13" wide wheels. I really want the wheels to come in a little.

If I use 1/2" spacers.......do I need to buy new ARP lug nut studs that are longer....?

Where do we get these from?

So what does the mini tub actually do...? Cut away tons of sheet metal...?

Did you have to cut the axles ends to make them shorter.....or is it the stock width axle...?

How much did it cost....?
How long did it take to do it....?
Is the interior stay the same...?

It removes the stock wheel wells and puts in wells that gives you a ton of room to run bigger wheels & tires.

No, I have stock width rear. I did widen my wheels to 13" in order to put the 335s on.

The tubs themselves are $140 from Wolfe Racecraft. I put them together, cut up my car, and welded them to my car myself. That part saved me a lot of money. I don't know how much it would cost for a shop to do all of that work.

About 20 hours of my own time.

No. The interior sail panels and hatch panels don't fit in stock form. They will need to be trimmed to fit around the tubs.

Nice man.....very cool.

Unfortunately I don't have the tools, place to do it or the know-how....

I'll have to have a shop do it if my 325 tires rub. But I'm thinking the BFH and the right spacer will do the trick. Maybe even dremeling some if the inner well away will do the trick.

I'm getting some OE Wheels 18 x 10.5 wheels and widening them to 18 x 11.5

Hopefully with a 1/2" spacer they'll fit and not stick out any further than my 315's do know. Mine are actually tucked in about 1/2" now.
