Default forgestar wheels

Looking for the new rims for my Formula. Found forgestar wheels at stranoparts.com anyone tried them? What's the weight of those wheels and looking for some photos on the F-body.

i bought a set before the new year, they arrive tuesday. takes about 5-8 weeks from purchase date to get them. every one i talked to and reviews I read all had nothing but good things to say about them. I went with the CF5 in 18x9.5 all around. I will weigh them when I get them.im expecting about 22-24 pounds each.

Great fitment, very light. If I remember the 18x10 deep concave were about 22lbs. Seem to be very high quality. My set balanced extremely well. I had heard of QC issues with the powder coating but mine had no flaws. Excellent wheel for the price.

Read about some issues with cracked rims. Roads in Russia are rather bumpy, don't want them got bent or even cracked. Any troubles with the customer servise??

They are not so easy to communicate with. However, I don't think the wheels would be prone to cracking more then any other wheel.

They are flow form wheels. The way they are made makes them pretty similar in strength to a forged wheel. So I think that you would have an easier time cracking something else over these. I will post up a thread here in the next few days with my CF5s. They are 18x10 front and 18x11 rear deep concave piano black.

FWIW they are owned by iForged.

I am actually not sure. I got them from another member who mounted them and then parted out his whole setup. I know they fit just fine though!

LOL That probably helps you zero. Haha! I think that it may be engraved on the backs of the wheels though if I am not mistaken.

Your wheels are 18x10" +42 offset front and 18x11" +43 offset rear. Post up some pictures once you get them mounted up. I'm sure bobby will be jealous and upset that he sold them when he sees them on another car. Lol.

I think I know the wheels you are talking about, I wanted to get those wheels but I want a squared set up. Those wheels look bad ***, when you get the wheels mounted can you post some pictures of how flushed the front wheels are with the fenders.

Nice, thanks for the specs.

Those are going to look awesome. I want to get 18x10 on all fours for the deep concave look, but I'm still undecided on what offset I want to go with.

I checked around and mustang and camaro 5 forums were saying that gorilla's were too big to fit with the socket or lock tool over them.

I used some cheap black summit racing brand hex lugs. Get a thin wall lug socket and take the protective plastic ring off it. Should give you plenty of space. I don't run locking lugs though.
