Cheap 5 spoke wheels?
I've been looking at getting some wheels and was looking for some response about cheap 5 spokes. I've generally been looking for think 5 spoke 18's. If you've had any experience with these please share, I'd realllllllly be interested to learn how much they weigh. I've been looking primarily at ...
Eagle Alloys 077 Problem with these are that theyre only 18x8" .. not that I'm really putting down monster power..
Saleen Replicas (I know .. mustang... but these wheels look pretty good in my opinion..) 18x9's so a little wider. How about black wheels on a green car?
C5 Replicas 18x9.5 and 18x10.5, a pretty common wheel it seems for f-body's. I like the look, are there other center caps available so it doesn't reak of vette? ((not that vette is a bad thing...))
Like I said, if you've had experience with these wheels or other 5 spoke wheels (or wheels that you would think I would like judging by these..) please share. It would be great to figure out how much they weigh, I've got a stock 95 green TA m6 (yes, an lt1! gasp!). I don't really wanna be getting wheels that are like 30lbs cuz of the difference in mass when its rotating..

If your going for something cheap and light, maybe look into 17X9 ZR1's, if your set on 18's I guess C5 replicas would be good, not sure on the weight, but obviously, the 18's will be more than the 17's and the 17's will be more than your stock 16's, (unless you get some really fancy/expensive wheels)

I have 18"x10.5" C6 motorsport wheels on my '02 Z28. They're inexpensive, nice and wide, fit perfectly front and rear with no mods or spacers, and they look killer. They're black 5-spoke wheels with a polished aluminum face (my car's black) but you can get them in polished aluminum, chrome, and black with polished face. Ebay kicks ***.
BTW the Saleen replicas have a 5x4.5" bolt pattern; F-bodies have a 5x4.75" bolt pattern so they won't fit.

Theres a set of the saleens with 18x9 's that has a 5x4.75 with 50mm offset, which I'm pretty sure is just right?
TooSlow: You have 10.5" wide the whole way around? What size tire are you running, can I see some pics of your car?

18"x10.5" all the way around. I'm working on getting some pictures posted; hopefully later today or tomorrow. Right now I have 275/35R18 Dunlops, which I've found to be a little on the narrow side. I want to go to a 295/35R18 at least, or maybe a 305/30 or 315/30 in the rear.

those C6's look great on that car
as for your question, any kind of replica will probably be the best bet, ZR1's, C5's, Z06's, whatever. but if you want something kinda cheap and not those, look at hot wheels, privat, ruff racing, etc.. try a search on here

You can probably throw a decal over the corvette emblem.
