Default Widened WS6 Rims Pictures Updated

I posted some pictures of widened factory WS6 rims a month ago. I got them on the car now so I thought I post up a few more pictures. They fit perfect. I have about one finger of room on the inside, and no room on the outside. I might have to roll the fender, but I'll deal with that if I find that they rub. I cut the bump stops off and made new ones to get more room on the inside. I didn't want them to stick out the full 2", I was hoping for 3/4 inch out. But I can live with 1", it looks pretty good.

More picture after car was lowered located here

https://ls1tech.com/forums/appearance-detailing/584789-appearance-mods-done.html

Rims cost me $200/rim to add 2" to the inside of the rim. Spacers are 1", had them custom made for $100/each.

Tires are 17 Inch Yokohama A032R H-Compound (Track) Tires. P315/35ZR17 rear, and P275/40ZR17 front.

The outdoor pictures suck, I'm going to buy a new camera. That's the best this one will do.

Those look nice. The back of your car sure looks high in those pics. I wouldn't mind doing the same thing to some 98-00 WS6 wheels one of these days.

I've heard about widening the stock rims, but never saw any pics. Wow they look good. How's traction now that theyre 2'' wider? Seems like a worthwhile mod.

Looks awesome Kent? What's the verdict on traction after driving on them for a bit?

Traction...... well I must say I'm a little dissapointed. I can still spin them all the way through first. But in all fairness it is cloudy and cold today. They still hook better than my old tires though. But ask me that in a few month when I have a some track passes on them. I'll see what my 60' times are. I'd be happy with 1.9's on a non-preped track.

Any rubbing so far Kent? Are you using an adjustable panhard bar?
