C6 OEM Wheel Question???
Ive tried reasearching to find my answer but I just cant find the info I need so please help me. My Father just bought a new C6 and he ended up somehow coming through ordering the C6 Z06 wheels also, so there is a set of C6 wheels in his garage that came on the Vette. My Question is........Will the be able to fit on my WS6? Its a 2000 M6. Ive tried to find the offsets etc. but I cant determine if they will fit. the fronts are 245/40ZR-18 and the rear is 285/35ZR-19. Please help me out. I hope they can fit cause he is just going to give these to me if they fit. If anyone can help please do because I would appreciate it so much.

The OEM wheels need a spacer. A few people are running the stock versions, and many more are running the repros that have the camaro's offsets (no spacers needed). I think it was Terri that could give you more info...?

this is true on the c6 wheel, I still have my TA in storage so when it gets out ill have to look on the wheel and see if it does. I guess the only thing that worries me is that I really dont want my car to be any higher off the ground and i really dont want to lower it be it looks like it looks alot better without much gap in the wells with these wheels.

I'm running OEM c6's on my 1998 T/A. The fronts fit just fine, but the backs required a 1.25" adapter. They look great though, and adapters are safe to run as long as you check them regularly and keep them tight.

98LS1Vert, are you lowered at all? Looks like you are lowered. The rims you have did you get those aftermarket. The ones I have are right off a 06 C6 vette. The are the authentic rims. the rears are 285/35ZR-19 do you have the same spec? Im running out of time to decide if these will fit or not cause i have to get the ta inspected and i need new tires on the stock rims if im going to keep them or put the new tires on the C6 rims.
LS1_2NV thanks man, ill have to throw her a pm. thanks for all the help. if you hear or know anythink else please post up. It looks like i can buy the 1.25" adapter on ebay but is htere anywhere else I could get the spacer. ie local dealership, parts store? Im really eager to end up figuring this out.

Yeah, mine are stock OEM c6 takeoffs. I'm running dunlop sp9000's 255-35-18 up front and 295-35-19 in back. My car is lowered on eibach pro kit springs, but only the first picture is after it was lowered. I'm actually running 1.25" spacers from ebay, I think I paid about 80 bucks including shipping.

I would just need the 1.25" right? Is this better than doing the spacers?

Well, why not just pick up some reproductions that have the stock Camaro/Firebird offset? I think they would be cheaper than the OEMs also. Check TomzWheelz, think he carries them -------------> he's a sponsor
