Default 315 gsd3 or 335

im getting ready to order me some zr1's and i understand the goodyears are the "fattest" 315's around. my question is, the zr1 wheel is 50mm, so can i fit a "small" 335 instead of the gsd3?

You'll need to pound the hell out of your fenderwells to get the 335's to fit and they will still rub. Get the 315's and call it a day.

There really are no "small" 335's.

I have GS-D3's, that are just a "big" 315.

I get compliments on them all the time. They also scare the **** outta people that drive behind you so its all good

BFG's run at least as wide as the Goodyears, if not wider. My BFG KD's are HUGE. I would stick with 315's, I beat the day lights out of my inner fenders, as much as they would go in, and I can still only fit a finger between the tire and the fender well. I also have an adj. panhard and my rear is centered perfectly and I still have minimal room. I also rolled my fender lips flat too, you'll need to do that as well.

Those GS-D3's are kickass tire! Definitely go for the 315 Goodyear's. You won't be disappointed in performance or width.

Here is a shitty pic I took right after i got them on. These are 315/35-17 GS-D3's. They truely are HUGE. Pic doesn't do them justice.

Yeah, I know it's on my old 'Stang instead of an F-body, but it gives you an idea of just how truly giant the GS-D3's are.

How wide are GS-D3's on 17's?
I think my Yokomamas are wider.

My GS-D3's were just slighty over 13" when mounted on a 17x11 wheel.
