You can make them pay for it to get fixed or see what they will work out with you. I've personally fixed some of the scratches and blemishes on both of my sets of CCWs. I just sanded the imperfections with different grades of sandpaper then polished them back out.

Tire, nothing. If they can't fix it, they should be replacing the wheel.

You should of done your research first before you have a cheap tire company like discount mount your tires. I know you wouldn't think they could screw up mounting, but tire companies do. Especially if they are custom aftermarket rims. It happened to my buddy who has iForged rims. Personally I would make them replace the rim. If the scratch is real deep, sometimes they can't fix it.

First off - Discount Tire is not a "low end" shop. Depending on the area they do more high end wheels then any other shop in the area.

Discount is very good about taking care of their customers. The manager will first want to have the wheel repaired. If he cannot have it done properly they will set you up with a new wheel or the repair cost at CCW (if available). It is difficult to remain calm (trust me, been there, done that) but accidents do happen, and they will make the situation right.

Discount is FOS

Make them replace if they can't fix. Don't even settle for a free tire

Tire is what? like $250~300 or so? And one wheel is at least 650. Why would you settle for a free tire?

I would take pictures of the damaged wheel and keep documentation just to be on the safe side.

I'm glad they fixed it. When I lived in San Antonio I dealt with Pino at the discount tire on Culebra. Can't wait to see the pics.
