Default C5 Brake Caliper clearance

Where can I find information if certain rims will clear C5 brake calipers?

I am down to my final choices for rims, shown below. Does anybody know if the rims below will clear C5 calipers?

17X9
ROH Snyper

18X9 or 9.5
Boze Stingers
CCW 505a
iForged Aeros

19x8.5
HP Racing HPD5

I don't want to end up with wheels that don't fit. I am still trying to decide how much money I want to spend on wheels, that is why I have the HP Racing, and ROH wheel in my list of choices.

I run ROH's on my 68... the 17x8 clear fine, I have the wheels off and can check the 17x9's to be sure but I'm not sure if the backspace is the same as what you would need. (your safe on the diameter anyway) Suprisingly they have a lot of room, I've been wanting to test fit the c6 vette z06 6 piston brakes, by kore-3's templates they should just clear- probably possibly only because of the spoke offset as they won't clear C5 17" rims. -Dan

I would be curious to know what the back spacing is. From what I had seen, it was the spoke that was hitting the caliper. But if they work for you then I am probably safe.

The rims are 17x8 front, 17x9 rear, zero offset (centered); I can try to get a measurement of the spoke to caliper clearance if it helps. -Dan

If you have a chance to measure the spoke to caliper that would make me feel better.

Thanks

I took my rears, 17x9 zero offset and put one on the front, 1-3/4" was the tightest spot for clearance on the caliper and that was near the outer most part of the spoke. The rest of it had a good 2"; hope that helps. -Dan
