The Camaro has a 427 cubic inch engine with an aluminum block and aluminum heads, a Turbo 400 transmission, and 4.30 Posi rear. According to the figures given, this ride is putting out about 430 horsepower.

The Corvette, on the other hand, has a 454 cubic inch engine with aluminum head, a M-22 transmission, and 4.30 Posi rear. The figure they give on this ride is 425 horsepower. Clearly the two are pretty evenly matched, which only makes the competition itself more intriguing to watch!
