Ford Shelby GT500 Gets Schooled by a Smart Car!?
We all love taking the piss out of Ford owners around here, especially when they think they’re hot stuff with a Shelby GT500 Mustang. While powerful, those cars aren’t exactly what you’d call modern, and don’t like corners all that much. Their realm is the drag strip, where their horsepower and old school suspension design make for the perfect combination. Until that is someone comes along to absolutely humiliate them. Which is what we have for you today.
As the Shelby GT500 lines up to the start line, a white Smart Car lines up alongside of it. Besides being hilariously out of place at a drag strip, the Smart Car doesn’t look to be that much of a match for the Shelby GT500 and its supercharged V8 motor. That is until the lights go green and the Shelby sinks away.
If there ever was a time when the Fords could be made fun of, it’s the time a Shelby GT500 got beat by a blown Smart Car. Enjoy.
